Vrymansfontein is a stylish wine and dining destination in the Cape Winelands, located on the southern slopes of Paarl Mountain along the Suid-Agter Paarl Road.
It's a working almond farm that has been reimagined as a modern leisure spot under the Vondeling Wines family. Visitors enjoy Vondeling wine tastings with spectacular mountain and vineyard views, refined Mediterranean-inspired dishes at SCAPE restaurant, and casual family-friendly dining at The Shed - a laidback alfresco eatery serving gourmet wood-fired pizzas, burgers, weekend braai platters, and kid-friendly options, right next to a custom-designed play area and lawns where children can run and play freely.

The venue is family-oriented with a relaxed, uplifting atmosphere and breathtaking vistas towards the Simonsberg and Table Mountain.
The Tasting Room
Vrymansfontein is the official home of Vondeling Wines tasting. Take a seat at the the Tasting Bar and enjoy one of the expert-led wine tastings under the trees, all while enjoying extraordinary views.
Their diverse and award-winning wine collections ensure there is a perfect pour for every occasion, mood and palate preference and they offer a complimentary snack board.

Gourmet pizzas, food from the fire & alfresco family fun
Kids are welcome at The Shed. Let them run and play on the adjacent lawn or clamber on the equipment at the custom-built Kids Play Area. Here, the dining is easy as they serve gourmet pizzas straight from the woodfired oven, G&T and Vondeling Wines.
On weekends you can also order the likes of the Beef Burger Special or Braai Platter to share.
