Fairview
First and foremost, Fairview is a working farm, housing a collection of micro-businesses all sharing in a common goal – to create artisanal and sustainable produce, with a focus on fine wine and cheese. Established in 1693, Fairview invites you to come and visit and see for yourself how the farm operates, supports the environment and contributes to a more holistic lifestyle. Everything they do is driven by a philosophy of being honest, honouring the heritage and ensuring that ingenuity perpetually flows from the soils and cellars and straight into the heart of your relationship with them. After all, at Fairview, they do things differently.
The Tasting Room
The Fairview Tasting Room is one of the most popular Cape winelands destinations, building on a reputation that stretches back to the 1970′s.
Their tasting room consists of 4 unique, barrel-shaped 'pods' that facilitate a welcoming and more social tasting. Their custom-designed pods offer a tasting selection of 6 different wines with dedicated hosts to guide and assist guests.
Fairview is committed to ensuring that they always have a diverse range of wines available for visitors to choose from, including a selection of wines exclusive to the cellar door. Your tasting also includes an expertly paired selection of 6 Fairview cow and goat's milk cheeses.

Restaurant

Over the past 18 years, Fairview's Goatshed worked hard to perfect a menu of delicious farm style comfort food, award-winning selection of artisanal cheeses and an exciting range of fine wines. Everything they do is guided by a philosophy that fresh and homemade is always better. They aim to bring the paddock and the farm as close to the table as they can, preparing their dishes from scratch and making sure they use as much of the produce as possible with as little waste as they can manage.
